Who Should Attend?

Primary care physicians, emergency medicine physicians, occupational health physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, registered nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, or other health care professionals with interest in orthopedics.

Course Objectives

  1. Provide a general understanding of the newest treatment options for orthopedic conditions affecting the spine, lower and upper extremity for adults and pediatrics.
  2. Outline the current evidence based practice guidelines for available treatments for the above orthopedic conditions.
  3. Improve the integration of orthopedic principles into medical practice and understand the appropriate candidates for orthopedic surgery referral.
